Clean Water for Haiti is a faith based humanitarian mission with non-profit status in the US and Haiti. We directly address the need for clean water in Haiti by building and installing Biosand water filters in Haitian homes. This simple technology is highly effective and very economical. Who We Are
Clean Water for Haiti opened it's doors in Haiti in 2001 and aims to provide the people of Haiti with a way to filter water in their own homes through the use of Biosand water filters.

To demonstrate our love for the Lord and our neighbors by providing support and expertise for sustainable water projects in Haiti.
Mission Statement
This mission is dedicated to responding to the needs of the Haitian people in the area of availability to clean water, using simple technology (Biosand water filters), and proven effective methods for development of clean water projects.
Goals and Objectives
- Provide and install Biosand water filters in communities throughout Haiti.
- Establish new production sites to reach new regions of Haiti.
- Teach necessary sanitation and hygiene education to filter recipients and their communities.
- Create employment opportunities for Haitian men and women.
- Support the Haitian economy by purchasing materials locally for filter production and installation.
- Train, support and resource other organizations interested in starting a Biosand filter project.
